Resonance: The state or quality of being resonant.
In physics, the state of a system in which an abnormally large vibration is produced in response to an external stimulus, occurring when the frequency of the stimulus is the same, or nearly the same, as the natural vibration frequency of the system. The vibration produced in such a state. – excerpted from Dictionary.com
We often use the phrase “if it resonates” or “check your resonance.” Why do we focus on this, and what does that mean? And, how do you know if you are resonant with something?
Clearly there are many influences we all are subject to which encourage us to do this or that, believe this or that, etc. What is good for us, and what is not? Is it what a doctor, or your parents, or your peers say? Most of us know these external voices are not always a good guide, well-meaning as they may be.
Pure Living CR offers a wide variety of foods and health-supporting products. We are not going to tell you ours are the best, or that what we personally choose to use is right for you, or that our way is the only way. Instead, we believe in personal sovereignty.
Beyond that, we know that all of us are multi-dimensional beings. So not only is each individual different from all others in body, mind, emotions, and spirit, due to the life path and heritage present, but also we each have influences from levels and layers we may know nothing of at this stage of our development. Put that together with all the various sales messages and instructions and pressures we are immersed in and it can be quite a journey to find out exactly what works best for you.
Learning to check your resonance with something, such as a health product, can be a matter of “this feels good to me” or “this feels off.” And sometimes indeed that is an accurate take! However, it’s a good idea to stay aware of all the “voices” that may be trying to convince you that something is good, or bad, and learn how much or little you are actually influenced by them. This can be a process of trial and error! And that’s not at all a bad thing.
If I feel resonant to trying a product, go ahead with it, and then find, well, this is not doing what I hoped it would, I can feel more deeply into why I chose it and what I may really need. If I am confused about whether or not something might be helpful to me, it’s always good to wait and see. Meditate. Ask my higher self for guidance. Often, if I feel unsure, that just means it’s not very important or not something worth my spending money on.
Ideally, when I conclude I am resonant to something, it means I am vibrating with it in such a way that I know it will be good for me – much like the dictionary definition given at the start of this article. I try always to feel for that level of response. Sometimes it can be an instantaneous yes or no. Other times, it is not clear and I choose to wait.
We do our best to provide sufficient information about all we offer so that you can make the best choices for your health, based on your individual needs, your self-knowledge, and your innate ability to tune in to your built-in wisdom system. We hope that by offering our products in this way we can encourage everyone to develop that inner attunement and rely on it instead of listening to all the external and historical voices and pressures surrounding us.
We wish for you the very best health, at all the levels where you exist, and hope to support your highest good.
